It all started when I told the truth for the first time. A nasty pressure broke inside of me -- a wall that had been guarding my heart, my true self, for as long as I can remember. I was sobbing uncontrollably. My stomach was writhing in spasms and all normal senses held idle as something else took center stage. From deep within the hollow darkness, the place where I’d held in the memories and the lies, something rose, shook off the dirt, and left me to finally be free. From this event came a revelation: All I have to do is tell the truth. I wrote a book in which I confess every dark secret in my life and what I found was each of those difficult memories were actually the greatest learning moments of my life. So now I’m asking other people to share their stories.
